Biography

Dr. David J. Slutsky is an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in Torrance, CA. He has edited 9 books to date and 3 journals which are available through Amazon.com. He has produced over 100 Hand surgery videos include a 1 hour long video on Nerve grafting for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand video library (http://www.assh.org). He is also the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Wrist Surgery (Thieme, Inc). He lectures widely both internationally and domestically and teaches Orthopedic residents at Harbor-UCLA weekly, where he is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedics and Head of Reconstructive Hand Surgery. His private practice is set in the brand new 4,400 square foot, state of the art Institute for Hand and Wrist Surgery in Torrance, CA. Dr. Slutsky’s website includes short discussions on a number of selected topics in Hand surgery as well as numerous intraoperative photos and videos. Many of the photos and videos depict graphic anatomical detail hence the faint of heart should use caution. The website also includes links to a small sampling of some of his published papers.
